Meet Dr. Bower
Dr. Bower is a board certified urologist who is grateful and proud to serve his friends and neighbors on the Treasure Coast. Graduating with honors from Boston University School of Medicine in 2010, Dr. Bower served in the United States Navy as a Medical Officer attached to the 2d Marine Air Wing from 2010-2015 deploying to Helmand Province, Afghanistan from 2011-2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He then returned to training for urology residency at Brown University, graduating in 2019. He has since been practicing urology on the Treasure Coast.
Dr. Bower practices the full scope of general urology, urologic oncology, and advanced endourology, trained and facile on the breadth of technology available on the Treasure Coast. Advanced techniques include robotic procedures using the daVinci Xi system for urologic cancers and reconstruction, BPH procedures including aquablation, urolift, Rezum, and TURP, stone treatments using percutaneous nephrolithotomy, shock wave lithotripsy and laser lithotripsy, and OAB treatments including sacral neuromodulation and bladder botox.
Dr. Bower believes in competency and shared medical decision making as the foundations of care delivery, and he prioritizes remaining fluent in the available options that have been proven to be safe and effective. He consistently reviews all reasonable options, including those offered by other specialties, in the context of his patient's unique scenario and goals of care to achieve the best possible outcome.
